    Sorel boots

Anyone in the Tah have the skinny on screamin deals for a pair of snow boots? I guess they don't have to be Sorel. I don't really care, actually. Just something to wear in the snow. What are the odds that D.I. would have some? I would likely wear them less than 10 times a year, so I don't need to get too fancy.

What do you guys rock when it comes time to speed the snow plow?

Nothing but Sorels. I get excited for it to snow just so I can break em out. They'll last your forever; $80 well-spent, even if you only wear them a few times a year.

Of course, you'll need to find a white cottony belt and watch to match. Or do you match the brown rubber bottom half?
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

No but I do have a screaming deal on a pair of Northwave APX Kevin Jones Pro Model snowboard boots. Hottest boots ever made IMO. Size 13.

We've had decent luck with Target stuff for the kids. I imagine the same holds true for adult boots.

Do they have Big R stores wherever you are? They always have a decent selection of modestly priced good quality snow boots.

In the end though I agree that Sorels are the way to go. They last forever.
There's no such thing as luck, only drunken invincibility. Make it happen.

My pair of Sorel's are going on 20 years. Great boots, they'll easily last another 20.

I guess that was a good shot, except I was just going to get the black ones. I don't like brown shoes that much.

                Congrats, anyway.

I was thinking of the Caribous. I had some but got rid of them when I left law school. Maybe I should bite the bullet again?

Cal Ranch usually has good deals on Sorels.

                        where is that?

I went to DI this morning to look. What has happened to DI? I havent been in a few years, but I had fond memories of piles of clothes, kitchen utensils, old books, used toys, etc....lots of disorganization and chaos. You would spend an hour there searching through stuff to find the one nugget in the pile.

I went to the DI in American Fork today....it was like a small dept store. Very clean, not only well organized but clothing arranged by color as well as size, etc. Customer service people walking around, as well. Took all the fun out of it. And they had no snow gear to speak of. I guess I picked the wrong week to show up and look for boots. Everyone else already snapped them up.

Cal ranch is very close to the DI in AF. Same street, just a little closer to the freeway.
