In my youth I would get Val Kilmer, or Jim Morrison (via Val Kilmer). Alas, anymore it is the Free Credit Reports guy.
It is probably a good thing that you no longer get the Val Kilmer references.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I wonder how often Val Kilmer is mistaken for Zach Galafinakis these days? I can also see a bit of a down-and-out bearded Jack Tripper in that photo of Val.

What years were you at BYU? I think we might've had a class together (don't ask me which one). Your face seems awfully familiar.

Holy cow! what happened to the Iceman?
He needs to start "Playin With the Boys" and stop "Playin with the Boysenberry Pie."
he actually reminds me a little of the best dancer on the JKwedding youtube video. that guy had some nice moves, including a doorway solo and a handstand!
Its one thing if you can't grow it. To shave it just so your girl doesn't complain about it when you kiss is straight lame!

What if she makes you an offer you can't refuse?

Robin, how come you're not smiling in any of these? You talk about how you can really feel the love in the pictures, but then you aren't even smiling!

Great photos RF. Thank goodness lil Robin gets his looks from Faith. Very good composition and quality (especially the last one), what camera-lens combo did you shoot those with?
Throw a big mustache on there and you'd kind of look like a latter-day Dave Grohl fwiw...
Cool! Here are a couple of different facial hair shots. The badass version was for Burning Man, and may have been seen by some here when MW did some kind of funny creative photoshop project with it. The other one is not such a great picture, but I offer it as proof that I can grow an extremely thick manly beard:
DT, Q-Hall in '92. Then Carriage Cove for a couple of semesters. Then someone's basement after Faith and I got hitched.
I was also involved in protests, I would rant about stupid stuff on that soap box they would put out, and I would often queue up to ask Merrill embarrassing questions about how why he was screwing up the university. I also wrote letters to the editor, which were occasionally turned into minor feature letters with my photo.
I lived in the HFAC, the cougareat, and the sculpture studio building behind the ROTC office.
If you stomped regularly through any of these places, we may have crossed paths.
You look like someone famous, but I can't quite put put my finger on who (which is frustrating, because I usually can).
I finally figured it out! Robin is a shorter, American Kryrlo Fesenko
The resemblance is uncanny.
