What is appealing about Overland Park? I don't find much to like about Kansas beyond the home prices.

In general, I didn't care for the Midwest, but I really liked the little college towns scattered about. I'd live in South Bend, Ann Arbor, Bloomington, etc. I imagine that Lawrence may be somewhat similar.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
