They're all Elisha although earlier this evening I posted an Erin Andrews and felt dirty afterwards. BTW if you don't want to see photos, avatars or signatures you can remove one or all of them in User CP > Edit Options.

Is this true? I can't find a way to disable a single user's avatar in the User CP.

no. It's all or nothing.

This is true for via the CP method but you can selectively ignore avatars using the The FFVB addon for firefox. See my thread here about functionality:

I find the poster specific ignore avatar, poster specific ignore signature, and ignore thread functionality very useful. Of course, it only works with firefox so that is a downside.

If you use firefox w/ adblock plus you can adblock a single image. That works at least until a user changes his/her avatar.

Thanks, pelagius and Slim. I'm using Chrome at the moment, but have Firefox on my computer and used to use it. Maybe I'll switch back.
