  • More replies below current depth...

I really like using a threaded mode of displaying the conversations on the site, especially the Hybrid method of display, but I hate the "More replies below current depth..." thingy. If I have been to a thread before and want to read more I have to click on "More replies below current depth..." over and over again for big threads.

I have my number of posts per page set to 40, but this board does not seem to allow that and limits the number of posts to about 12 or 13. What gives?

    Anyone have this problem?

No problems for me, as I usually click on "Mark Forums Read" and start randomly posting.

I think there are some global settings I can tinker with. I will check it out later tonight.

Try it now BigPiney. I adjusted some settings.

This was bugging me too, but I thought it's just the way things are. Thanks for being a squeaky wheel, BigPiney.

I tweaked it a little more. One of the things that always bugged me in threaded mode was when you would click on a link deep within a large thread and it would refresh the page and you would lose your position. This should not be a problem now except for threads larger than 1024 posts.

Once again, thanks. It is a thing of beauty now.
