"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Not seeing that on mine. Maybe it's using a different skin/format/whatever. I use the "Dark" settings. On my screen, the drop down menu with the different options is in the lower left hand corner.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostBeginning a couple of days ago, thread and forum headings, user ames, banners, etc., even the "Post Reply" button, appear in red? I'm red green colorblind, so red and green look more gray to me. My body refuses to acknowledge red.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostBeginning a couple of days ago, thread and forum headings, user ames, banners, etc., even the "Post Reply" button, appear in red? Sorry you had to go through that, PAC. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostFigured it out. Thank you so much for making me aware of this exploit, PAC. I have been able to successfully change my settings to red and now the site seems so much more hospitable.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostFigured it out. This reminds me that I've been meaning to speak with the webmaster about some of the more unsavory options around here.Originally posted by wally View Post

I disagree. One of my favorite people in my ward is a lady who does a lot for homeless people. Her husband shared a story in PH where she came across a homeless guy going through a public ashtray for cigarette butts that still had a little left to smoke. when she saw this she went to the nearest store, bought a couple packs of cigarettes and gave them to the guy saying he shouldn't have to go through the leftovers. I thought that was an incredibly touching story. Maybe what you did was kind of like that?Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View Post

Hey I've tried to post something twice in the 'Carbon blindness' thread in the foyer. I deleted the first one and tried again. Both times it got highlighted green and said it was unapproved. What gives?"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."
