Question for cougjunkie, what about the BYU fans complaining about the change? Do you have any of your great criticisms for them?

More like going to your favorite Chinese-Mexican fusion restaurant, only to find out that it now has the name of a Mexican restaurant. But lo and behold, its menu still serves the exact same Chinese-Mexican fusion it served the day before. Same caliber and quantity, even.

But now that the name changed, you're suddenly unsure if its your favorite Chinese-Mexican fusion restaurant anymore, even though the menu and the food haven't changed.

I can't remember which hotel, but last month in Vegas there was a place called Juan's I believe that said Chinese? Mexican? Have both! I think it was maybe in The Cosmopolitan.

By the way, on my Firefox tab at the top of my screen I still get the cool icon with half a blue Y on the left, and half a red U on the right. Somebody had better fix that before it becomes a branding problem.

Briefly looking at the ones that are complaining it really does not surprise me. The majority never post about sports, have never played sports, and add little value to the parts of the site that I find enjoyable.

It is a name change, the ute categories are still active, ute fans can still post. Not sure what the big deal is. When my wife was adopted as a young child from El Salvador her parents changed her name to something that sounded a bit more American. Instead of bitching and moaning about them taking away a piece of her Mayan heritage she thanked them for accepting her in to the family even though she didn't look, speak, or act like any of the other family members. She was just greatful for the opportunity to come to the United States, receive an American education, and have the opportunity to better her life.

I suggest ute fans thanks Lebowski for similar opportunities.

The whole EC is made up of BYU fans. It's almost like the Ute fans are Manti Teo and CUF was the girlfriend....only this time Manti found out his girlfriend was a man before she/he faked the death.

The Cosmo is classy (supposedly)! So, at the very least, we are a classy Chinese-Mexican fusion restaurant (supposedly).
