iPhone or pc, no problem. Keep getting a server error from my iPad. I've tried different browsers and no luck. Cleared cookies and still no luck. Any ideas?

I was just on here last night with the iPad. No problems using Mobile Safari."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

I had no problems yesterday either. And I'm using mobile Safari on my phone to post. Just can't get it to work today on the iPad.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostSend me your iPad and I'll let you know what I find.

Centurylink has been having intermitant DNS issues today.Originally posted by CJF View PostiPhone or pc, no problem. Keep getting a server error from my iPad. I've tried different browsers and no luck. Cleared cookies and still no luck. Any ideas?
Switch to Google DNS and you will be fine.

So not really a problem with "access" as much as usage.
using iPad mini to view the site via browser. When I am reading a thread and respond to a post, the text box pops up as well as my keyboard. As soon as i type the first letter, the keyboard disappears. I have to click back into the text box to get it to reappear. There are two ways I have found to eliminate the problem:
choose "reply with quote" and the keyboard won't minimize, OR
choose "reply" and once the keyboard appears, I minimize it myself with the keyboard key (bottom right corner), the click back into the text box. Once I do that, I can type normally without the keyboard minimizing,
has this happened to anyone else?Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I encounter this once or twice a week. Happens on mini, but it happened on my old iPad too. I think it is a Safari bug.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostSo not really a problem with "access" as much as usage.

There is another simple fix. Click on the back and then the forward buttons on your browser. Takes you right back to where you were editing (with your text still there) but it stops the problem."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."
