  • How can I block a thread?

If there is a thread I don't want to see, say for being about a show I don't want to be tempted to read spoilers or it is horrifically gross and callous, is there a way I can block it, so it doesn't constantly show up every time I hit New Posts?

That's how I've felt about the Friday Night Lights thread; I just finished season 3 two nights ago.

I just pretend the Lakers thread doesn't exist

I have never clicked on it once and have no intention of ever doing so.

There's your answer. You can also ignore the originator (which doesn't get rid of the thread title without an add-on, but it's in a different font, etc so it's easier to ignore).

What is this, the third or fourth thread started about that other thread? I am starting to lose track.

Shall we create a poll thread to determine how many it's been?

Thank you for the descriptive thread title in the foyer. Though it will likely take me the same iron-willed self control I've exhibited, in not ever clicking on the Lakers thread, I will try and refrain from opening the lid too the cookie jar.

My thanks was sincere, at least as much sincerity as can be expected in these situations, and not intended to be read as sarcastic.
