I think he's awesome. He had a great sense of humor about the rivalry. I found him very self-aware and just a genuine person. It's just really horrible how this board treated him.

LOL - Lebowski is the CS version of Dumbledore - awarding and taking away points. Although, come to think of it, I only recall Dumbledore ever awarding points, not taking them away.

I think LAUte is a great human being. He definitely has a weirdness about him when it comes to BYU, however--particularly for a devout Mormon. Because this is a BYU message board, I suppose that makes things awkward.

He's been nothing but good to me. Even lined up an interview for me back when I was a rising 2L looking for a job.

Maybe the lawyer in me doesn't mind when the opposition is at least courteous to your face. Where I come from that's a good thing.

Maybe it is due to LA Ute being a former BYU student and then a U. Utah graduate??? I know others in this category of "weirdness" when it comes to BYU. I got nothing but love for brother LA Ute - but I'm not coming out, still deeply closeted like Norm M.
