Hey, you may have noticed the website was down last night and this morning. Looks like it was a corrupted database. Hosting company has it fixed now.

Based on the error on the screen this morning, my instinct tells me it was a botched attack that caused the DB and/ or vBulletin PHP files on disk to become corrupted. The error messages had a bunch of instances of the text string "pharma" in variables table and file names. Pharma attacks are a style of attack where the attacker basically replaces site content with links to scam sites selling viagra and that type of junk.Comment

Sorry everyone. Hosting company shut us down due to increased server load via the MySQL database. They claim we got hacked. Not 100% sure that it right, but it might be.

FYI, I've made a couple of posts since the site came back up (quality ones, FWIW). I get an error message when I hit "Post Reply", but it does post the message.

EDIT: Yup, I do get an error message:

Error information: " 500 error Internal Server Error"
