    Hmmm. I don't really know what you're talking about, but the site you posted where they had tested all sorts of media from all sorts of websites has a ton of metacafe videos that work. I posted one of the videos from over there straight to here, but it didn't work here. I wonder why.

      They may be using a slightly different definition of the metacafe media definition.

        Interesting, I just noticed that since you removed the youtube tag, all of the previously posted youtube videos have been removed.

          i tried to post a link to a regular page and the new addon tried to embed a video, even if I used the link feature.

                    It appears that any links to ESPN.com articles are showing up as imbedded video.

                      You can turn off automatic embedding of the links in the post options ... if you do that then it won't happen.

                        I am not following. It doesn't look embedded to me. Or is that because pelagius edited it?

                        I can play with the settings if I get some good examples.

                          I was just testing if unclicking the automatic embedding option fixed it .. I did.

                          Just look at the "Additional Options" below the text edit window and there is a checkbox for "automatically embed media." People just need to unclick that if a link is being incorrectly embedded.

                            Gotcha.

                            I just looked and there are two hooks for espn videos. One for regular videos and one for videos from article pages. I suppose I could turn off the one that works with videos from article pages. On the other hand, that is kind of a handy feature. Perhaps the best approach is to untoggle the automatically embed option as necessary.

                              Thanks for looking into it. I forgot that a bunch of ESPN's articles have that video lead-in at the top.

                                I just updated all of the media definitions for this utility. Let me know if you notice any problems.
