I'm still trying to figure out my response. I mean, you did you use Hugo Chavez and cool in the same sentence, so I'm unsure of my feelings."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

It's only clear if one has been reading your posts about the syllabus preparation for this course. As for being subjective, I'm not so sure. I think you just need to fine tune it, maybe asking them to compare and contrast the differences and/or similarities between Tosh and Selassie through three or more examples. That's just a thought though, I honestly am not familiar with either, other than I've heard Peter Tosh songs here and there.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostIs it that transparent? I can't decide if the question is too subjective for a graded exam, but it will make for a wonderful classroom discussion.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

In spite of poor orthography, you write cleverly. You're obviously intelligent, though the veiled references to your positions and stations in life seem to rub some people the wrong way (apparently she only wants that). As a devout postmodernist who revels in the historiographic meta-fiction of the current cultural expression, I find your pop-culture kitschy references blend with your writing to form a nice pastiche. One thing I learned very quickly, and the hard way, on this board is to not talk about your academic or Church accomplishments if there isn't even a hint, the slightest soupçon, of self-aggrandizing attitude to what you have to say. ArtVandelay, you seem like a decent dude, though I can tell that some people are going to give you hell on here from time to time. We shall be great friends.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View Post
I am a youngest child by 10 years and thus constantly need attention. The lack of a critique or even a response on my answer is very unsettling. I now understand better why young Anikan turned to the darkside, Yoda who he admired and looked to for advice kept too much to himself. Thus the evil governor dude, who I assume bears a striking resemblance to Hallelujah, ways became more inticing.

I was thinking of doing the compare and contrast thing in Art's question, but I figured that was a little too academic and would've probably not gotten the response he gave due to general apathetic sloth about investing time in answering deeper questions pervasive in these realms.Originally posted by pellegrino View PostIt's only clear if one has been reading your posts about the syllabus preparation for this course.
