    How did you find CUF?

UD told me about it. I was a little late to the party, but not too late. I’ve pretty much tagged along to whatever board he floats to…as brothers tend to do.

How did you choose your moniker?

I’ve gone through several different monikers. When I was Conundrum, someone on UFans might have even been Ilpad suggested I go to Conundrum & Feather, so I shortened that a little bit.

What do you do (other than read CUF)?

My daughter just turned 1, so she keeps me pretty busy. Outside of that I enjoy playing Tiger Woods 10 and NCAA 10 on the PS3 and prepping for the upcoming fantasy football season. I’m also a musician who doesn’t play nearly as much as he should…and from other posts of mine, I’m working on getting in shape. Slowly.

I've also got a couple of writing projects that I would like to be working on, but can't seem to get the right motivation to really get going on that.

Did you ever consider an alternative career path?

My brother’s lives were different, for they heard another call. One went to Chicago, and the other to St. Paul. And I’m in Colorado when I’m not in some hotel, living out this life I’ve chose and gotten to know so well…

That’s only half true. Both of my brothers are Attorneys and I’ve often wondered why I didn’t get the lawyer itch…I’ve even thought about working in compliance to have something in common. One lives in Fresno and the other in Culpeper VA.

Growing up the son of an educator, I’ve always thought teaching would be a fun job…but if I do it, it’ll be adjunct, because there just isn’t enough money in teaching high school kids to support a family.

I would also love to be a sports talk show host.

How many time zones have you lived in and what is your current time zone?

I think three….and I’m currently in the East.

How many states have you lived in?

    Virginia, Utah, Idaho, Nevada

How many states have you road tripped to/through in your RV?

I’ve driven across the country a total of 6 times and will maintain until the day I die that Iowa is missing the boat by not putting up a sign that says “You think this sucks, wait until you get to Nebraska.”

    What are your sports loyalties?

Redskins, Utes, Running Utes, and the rest of the Washington D.C. based teams (Wizards, Caps, etc…)

What's your standing in the church?

I do the numbers – Finance Clerk.

I suspect I’ll spend a lot of my free time at church in the clerk’s office avoiding our overbearing EQ president.

I don’t remember what the ratings were or meant, but I’m solid.

Are you looking forward to Wuap's welcome question and what do you think it will be?

If I told you what I think it would be it most certainly will not be that. So, yes, I am looking forward to it.

Do you expect anyone to respond to this thread?

I sure hope so. I can’t have my self confidence take a nose dive heading into the weekend.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

      Oh man, I'm screwed.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I've done both 70 and 80 various times and, for me, the barren wastelands across Nevada are the worst. The 80 across Nevada isn't even so bad when you compare it to some of the state road routes. I'm pretty sure living in one of those towns along some of those long stretches of nowhere would have driven me to drugs, or at least alcohol. :shudder:

            Haha, no kidding.

I remember pulling into Kearny, Nebraska and wondering who the hell lived in Kearny, Nebraska...

Bonus points for working in Fogelberg. Very nice. I was thinking of mentioning one of his songs yesterday in the Taylor Swift thread, but chickened out.

Whoops, I owe you a question:

Choose carefully because of all that overhyped nosense I use on newbies:

In 1973 and 1997 the Beehive Boot award required a vote by Utah media reporters who covered the gridiron season. Both times, Utah State received the award. Especially in the 1997 case, do you feel that the Aggies deserved the award by virtue of a tiebreaking vote, or should there have been another solution?

Technically speaking, the boot should be awarded to the "Best in Utah." Now, that can be read several different ways. In 1997, the Utes and Cougars both failed to capture a conference title, while Utah St. won its conference (shared title with Nevada). That may very well be what swung the Boot in the Aggies direction that year.

I think that if there is no clear-cut winner, the trophy should not be awarded and there can be some kind of notation made on the trophy that no team swept the state of Utah.

Interestingly enough, Weber St. is technically in the running for the Boot, but has never won it. Utah won it last year by sweeping the other three teams which has only been done 4 other times (USU 1972,1974, Utah 1978, BYU 1979)

Personally, I don't think the state of Utah needs its own version of the commander in cheifs trophy...especially when all teams are not required to play each other. In two instances (1998, 2007) it has been won by BYU even though they only played Utah and as such won it with a 1-0 record.

Utah/BYU should play for the boot.

Utah/Utah St. should play for something else

BYU/Utah St. should play for the wagon wheel

The team with the best record over all other state teams in basketball should receive the Old Oquirrh Bucket.

This is awesome. Drum is the funniest person I know bar none. It gets a little lost here because so much of it is the timing and delivery. But I am still laughing at this one.

                        Yeah, that was very funny.
