So are you a Ute fan or BYU fan?
The Utes. My dad took me to basketball games at the U back when Jeff Judkins was a senior at Utah. I recall the Utes winning a game on my birthday. I was hooked.
Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."
Gen. Burkhalter: "Klink, I am a staff officer."
Col. Klink: "I didn't mean you sir, you're not clever."

      welcome.

May your time spent anchored here be more successful than that of the actual USS Utah.
      Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Note: I am in no way shape or form calling Wuap a coward. As I matter of fact, I think he definitely isn't. His editing of his post just happens to be the same thing a coward would do.

I can't decide if it would be better to say:

            1. "Pistols at dawn!"

            or

            2. "Your quote of my post only contained one edit, 1853 to 1854. If that makes me a coward, so be it. If you're talking about my originally bad attempt at pastiching a hymn, I had cognitive dissonance the moment I posted it and decided to delete it."

            or

            3. "Whatever, dude."

            or

            4. "Soy buena gente y no me gusta pelear, especialmente con alguien de tan avanzada edad. Un anciano como tú necesita no subir la presión para evitar un derrame o un infarcto. ¡En serio! Hasta los médicos te dirán esto. Asi que, tranquilízate hermano mío para que tus días sobre la faz de la tierra sean muchos y llenos de gozo y alegría."
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.
The rest of us rarely bother to think about our actions." --Solon

Fortunately, you don't need to until he comes to a decision between the four.

I think the answer is yes, in additon to the modern Aircraft Carrier

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

Given your moniker and your allegiance to the Utes, can we call you Pirate Ship or Jolly Roger as a term of endearment?

You can call me Flattop -- that's my screenname at non-sports sites and at a history group I manage -- BB (2-letter designation for battleship, which the Utah was when first commissioned) wouldn't be bad, just as long as you don't call me a target ship.
