Easy, not as hot as St. George, Las Vegas, etc. 20 minutes to Snow skiing, 1 hour to Bryce canyon, 45 minutes to Zion's NP, University town, NO MALL!, It is acceptable to ride 4-wheelers on the streets, and I can practice frontier-style medicine

I like U2 as well, wouldn't say they are as influential, but I like them all the same.

Welcome, Jarid. A fellow 'stros fan is always welcome to hit me up for tix when in Houston. I occasionally get some from work.

Also, I would very much live in Cedar City. Next to my favorite area of the world, plus a Shakespearean Festival. Probably not in the cards for a score of years at least (and I do really like Houston) but I can't see anything wrong with Cedar.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I don't make it to Texas much, but I will definitely take you up on that offer for tickets. I forgot about the Shakespearean festival in my little rant.

I have been to Cedar City about 8 times in my whole life. Once, for the Shakespeare Festival. Once to eat at the Wendy's right off the I-15. The other 6 or so times to get gas right by the Wendy's off the I-15.

It truly is an intriguing place....

When I was in High School, Cedar City was known as the "devil worshipper's" capital of Utah. Likely the dark lord's hold on my soul is what dragged me down here.

I made out with a lesbian in Cedar City once. The only cool thing I have ever done. I am a little angry at the spelling of your first name though, if that is indeed your first name. There is only one real spelling of the name Jared.

                      Welcome aboard.

My name has been making people angry for 36 years then as the spelling is the correct spelling. I am aware of only 1 other person who has it spelled the same as I spell it.

When I was in High School, Cedar City was known as the "all hat and no cattle" capital of Utah (a distinction which undoubtedly remains in-tact). But then, St. Georgians don't think much of Cedar folk.

Welcome, Jarid. I love the Sugar Bowl scoreboard you're displaying, and one of my ancestors is immortalized in bronze outside of Cedar City's City Hall.

                            I've got your back.

It seems that the experience helped her clarify any confusion she had about her sexuality.

I thought Wellington, UT had that distinction.
