You'll get more interaction if you volunteer some information about yourself. Doesn't have to be overly identifying, but try for interesting.

      I suggest the Pellegrino-approved template.

        How did you find CUF?

Google search for Book of Mormon witnesses believe it or not.

How did you choose your moniker?

It's what I tend to use in forums. DWhitmer is short for David Whitmer, one of the three Special Witnesses of the Holy Book of Mormon. I have a web site that I maintain here: www.whitmercollege.com.

What do you do (other than read CUF)?

        Write.

How many time zones have you lived in?

        4

How many times zones have you traveled through?

        All but five.

        What are your sports loyalties?

        My kids teams (undisclosed).

What do you like about CUF?

So far it appears to be open and friendly.

What's your standing in the church? (this was originally meant as a joke but it stuck)

7th generation, RM, many callings before resigning, then later had name removed. We have not raised our children in the church and use the Holy Book of Mormon and Bible as our guides. I have no interest in the criticizing the church I have loved, only as it pertains to the Book of Mormon, good or bad.

Welcome aboard. Can I ask which version of the Holy Book of Mormon you use?

I like the 1st edition and have placed it online for others to use and search:

As for which printed edition, I have my own called The People's Book of Mormon with a number improvements over what's available. Thanks for the question and for the welcome from other greeters. Cheers!
