I figured I'd start here first

Hello all. I've been lurking for a while here and finally decided to register. I'm pretty sure I stumbled upon CG about a year and a half ago when I was searching out BYU football forums. I quickly became most interested in the religion section of the forum (SU is right, it was the crown jewel) and then I followed everyone over here after the revolution.

Bio: Nothing necessarily of note. Went to BYU. May be returning there for law school in the fall (very original on this board, I know). Served a mission in Brazil. Married, no children.

I've never joined a message board before and have been trying to resist the temptation here for quite some time. Unfortunately, I knew it was only a matter of time after DDD posted his bacon-wrapped hot dogs thread that I would be joining up. I am but a servant of fate.

I admire just about everyone on this board for different reasons and have really enjoyed reading your thoughts and random musings. My wife will probably kill me for signing up but here I am.

I could go on and on about the sophistication that it takes to understand your subtle humor or your obviously good taste in music and movies but I won't since I know that your ego is above being stroked.

Cowboy, I really would like to take her out for a nice steak dinner and when I do it will be with you in the back of my mind. You probably have personally helped me up my consumption of beef; you should be proud.

btw, I had no idea that my bacon-wrapped hot dog post would have the affect it has had. That post is responsible for 2 people joining the Church, as well.
