Welcome aboard. Thank you for following the tradition of using your CB name here ... it makes life much easier.

I just realized that you are a junior Danite. Do you claim this authority through your lineage, or is there a special school or apprenticeship that you are completing to be considered a full fledged Danite?

Ruprick, I'll give you a second chance and allow you to answer my question, but I advise you to consider carefully your response, for our future dealings on this site may depend, in large part, on your answer to this:

Ignorance, the absence of knowledge. I've been told that it's bliss. Woe unto them who call sin bliss or bliss sin. Sinning has a certain attraction to it, but at the end of the day, whether we yield to temptation or not, we must listen to the advice in John 8:1-8 that we should go and sin no more. John 8:1-8 doesn't appear in the Jehovah's Witnesses' Bible. A synonym for to witness is "to testify" from the Latin/Roman tradition of cupping one's testicles when swearing an oath in a court of law. Women can't really testify, but the female tsetse fly can transmit sleeping sickness to people with one bite. Biting is an act of violence, and silence can be violence, sort of like a slit wrist. While I often rage against the magazines that arrive a week after the publication date, I use them to help remove my ignorance about the world. I've had a subscription to National Geographic non-stop since January of 1985, and in that time I've learned wondrous things about the world we live in, so answer me this, what thing are you most ignorant about and about which you realize you need to educate yourself to bring about the greater bliss called knowledge (gnosis)?

I should know better than go to CB but apparently there was some drama today.

                What was it?

Some glitch in the interwebs (or a hacker) rerouted everyone who logged in to be logged in as El Jefe. Sort of a pulling back of the curtains on the wizard.

For the record, I and mine had nothing to do with this. Whenever a BYU site gets hacked, somehow we get blamed.

As much as I think stevie blunder is a blah kind of guy, I and my family respect and live by the law.

I'm guessing this was an inside job. Perhaps a traitor to his cause that reside aqui? Hmmm?

Yep. Surprisingly there are lots of Mormons here. It's a great place to live in spite of my previous sentence.

Surprisingly easy to join the danites. You only have to believe that in 1978 God changed his mind about black people.

Spent most of my childhood throughout Arizona but don't intend to ever return. Really digging the PNW.
