On the advice of one waupinmon, and the example of happyone, I'd just like to quickly introduce myself.

Age: 30
Education: BYU for undergrad, and the U for law school.
Occupation: solo practitioner
location: the desert. Not sure how I ended up here, though. Must have been my wife's doing.
Some kids, 6 and 2.
Mission: Chicago.
hobbies: sadly, this is one. no offense. I used to play xbox with my son, until he got immeasurably better than me and I couldn't keep up. Damn job prevents me from spending the necessary time, I guess. I also tool around on the guitar, but I realize that I'm no good whenever my wife makes a request and I have to admit I can't play it.

Anyway, I'll probably spend most of my time in the Back Fence and the Foyer. I'm not the type of guy that can really parse stats or anything in the sports categories, although I do consider myself a sports fan.

There could be a rational explanation for that. Family situations can be complex. Not sure why he claimed JRC though.

I've told the story, sort of, elsewhere on this board. But I'll provide a summary, for closure.

I had visited this board when it was occasionally linked from CB. I probably lurked for about 3 months, but there didn't seem to be enough content for my addiction at the time (I think I started looking only a month or so after the board was created).

Later, when I was famously humiliated by Donuthole and his cast of cronies on CB (many of whom are regulars over here), I decided to try to exact my revenge on him on this board. Except I didn't know what I was going to do.... At the very least, I wanted my board persona to be close enough to my real life that my lies would have some truth and substance to them and yet different enough that I wouldn't be caught. To that end, I created a fake email and even a fake facebook page.

Little did I know that several one here (including a few with admin ties to CB) had me figured out as soon as I showed up. It wasn't long before I dropped the whole facade, at least with Donut, and just went enjoying the site and no longer seeking revenge. Plus, a good idea for revenge never materialize.

Several months after joining and participating, I realized that my introduction post was full of "inaccuracies." That's why I edited it in June.
