I'm new here and just thought that I'd introduce myself. I grew up an Air Force / government brat so I've lived all over, but I'm currently in UT. I actually attended Ricks College / BYU-I, but I've always been a BYU sports fan. I've had season basketball tickets in the past, but living 70+ minutes away just made the commute to so many home games a bit tiring by the end of the season, so now I just go to a few each year. I'm a finance analyst in the defense industry and I love to analyze data and trends. For the past 10+ years I've been quite active at CougarCorner, but that place is practically dead now. Just hoping to engage in some good conversations about my Cougs and maybe make some [virtual] friends along the way!

byufan4ever, you will find that this place is quite a bit different than cougarboard. We are a fairly small group. Probably older than most of the CB crowd on average. Some really talented and interesting people here. Take your time settling in and be prepared for some ribbing and pushback along the way in discussions (a thick skin comes in handy). Most of the people have been here for a long time so there might be a few discussions that are hard to follow (inside jokes, etc) but you will get it eventually."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Just to clarify, I haven't really used cougarboard. CougarCorner has been my home for a while. I can't stand the layout to CB even if it does have the most traffic and discussions for Cougar fans. Like seriously, CB has the worst layout, design, and functionality in the history of the Internet. CougarCorner is much more similar to what I see here. I know the owner personally and there used to be great discussions there. Now, even during football season, you're lucky to see more than two posts a week there. I've also tried a Facebook group for BYU fans and, meh. I'm going to give CougarStadium a try and hope to add to the discussions. I'm not afraid to voice a different opinion and I keep an open mind to other's opinions as well. Definitely football. Mostly those two as far as BYU sports. I've given up on most professional sports and besides, I don't have the time to follow the NFL, NBA, and college sports.
