    How did you find CUF?

    Occasional posts from CB

What do you like about CUF?

Format - long running threads, which leads to more thoughtful discussion

What don't I like about CUF?

Format - long running threads, which leads to thread hijacking and flame wars (of which I am guilty)

How did you choose your moniker?

Katoa - my favorite Maori word meaning "whole", as I am a proponent of "Systems Thinking" (wikipedia.org/wiki/Systems_thinking)

What do you do (other than read CUF)?

Write code, spend time with wife and kids, and drink a ton of Diet Mt. Dew

How many States have you lived in?

    Utah, Idaho, Washington

    What are your sports loyalties?

    BYU

What's your standing in the church?

Return RM, etc. that chooses not to participate or believe in formal religion

Do you pee in the sink?

Since sinks have no natural rights, of course.

When your kids get older, will you do drugs with them in order to teach them a responsible approach to drugs?

No, but I'll teach 'em why they should be legal.

Why are you so creepy? How long have you been lurking?

Creepy comes with the territory of being a libertarian . Lurking off and on for a month, but recently decided to unveil my creepiness.

This was the first time I was looking forward to Wuap's question and it is omitted from Pellegrino's format. WTF?
    I'm your huckleberry.

Sorry, I didn't understand that and so omitted it. Please fill me in...

I might not be the best person to fill you in in all things wuap.

I've programmed since I was a little kid on my Dad's TRS-80, learning to code by debugging all my typing mistakes entering game code from magazines we subscribed to.

Since then, got CS degree at BYU (and later an MBA from there). I work primarily in the c# .NET world, but also dabble in lots of other environments.

              Welcome!

Where did you serve your mission?

Which is your second most favorite Maori word?

Wuap likes to ask entertaining questions. You'll see.

I think your avatar is almost as creepy as Vandelay's.

As I said, comes with the territory of being a libertarian. We're creepy but harmless (although annoying), as long as the gov't leaves us alone.

Didn't learn much Maori, since the country banned it for many years (recently doing the opposite), it wasn't used much. But second favorite was a very necessary phrase:

“Kua puta taku pito” - I’m full (my belly button is popping out)

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Nice. I used to do C# development. Great language.

Welcome katoa, I am pleased you chose to introduce yourself with the pellegrino-approved template.
Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia
God forgives many things for an act of mercy

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.
