wally! Welcome man. We need more engineers to balance out the lawyers.

Tell me more about the raccoon episode. I am battling them now myself. Caught one last week, but had another in the garage last night. Pesky little buggers.

You had a raccoon in your GARAGE and you cant figure it out? Allow me to suggest something: Look for an open door, or window, or maybe a RACCOON SIZED HOLE IN YOUR WALL.
      PLesa excuse the tpyos.

My kids found a raccoon in the neighbors window well. Mrs. Meanie called animal control and they came and took it away. I didn't even get to see it because I was at work.

That is my experience with raccoons.

We have two cats and we sometimes leave the main door open a crack at the bottom so that they can come in and out at night. Hasn't been a problem until recently.

We we went the passive route hoping that the raccoon litter would grow up and simply leave. As it happened they simply died in the chimney. We poured some charcoal down the chimney, and burned out the carcases (and smell) using the damper to throttle the chimney fire.

Also it is good to know a fellow engineer. Engineers make the world revolve...usually around a lawyers head.

Welcome, Welcome, I think you've gotten off to a very good start. My only experience with racoons was at Ft. Campbell. They use to gather around the garbage cans by the dozens at night.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

I played through my first year of grad school then got married and ran out of time. I primarily played lock, but also played flanker and 8. I played in a tournament in California as 1st 5 - that was an experience.

Most of them don't have necks and they only get cauliflower ears if they forget to use tape and vaseline.
