I don't recall exactly where we were camping out. We were at a LDS chapel that had a rather large field in the back where we all camped out. Bradley had like an eight man tent to himself and two cots end-to-end. If you don't remember seeing that freak of nature then maybe our paths didn't cross.

I do recall we had some good food. I remember we had some excellent gumbo one night. The food was the good part of that week. All the tree sawing I would rather forget.

That was the stake center in Kenner, LA, or Picayune, MS. Was the building a 60's building or a later model?

If it was the 60's one with the fancy open bricks and a big live oak in front, it was the stake center. If it was a boring newer one, it was Picayune.

Yes, I do recall there was a big oak in front and had white brick. We were fairly close to Lake Pontchartrain. The engineer in me wanted to go drive the famous Lake Pontchartrain Causeway but it didn't happen.

Just an update... Our son got more survey letters so add Louisiana Tech and Tulane to the list. Also, he played very well in the varsity spring scrimmage.
