Posts like this and the others that come from CB refugees here make me laugh. There are 8 people listed as moderators on CB besides me. I've met all of them. There are 2 in addition to Jefe that could be reasonably considered mullahs - Thibious and TKH9 (don't remember him that well).

The other 5 (Bernard, CJF, EWTH8TR, LiveCoug, and Pete) are about as far from mullahs as you can get.

I'll let others who have met and know me say which camp I would fit in.

you seem to be on better behavior here and seem to be trying to assimilate into the group. This is good. To that extent, you are welcome here and hopefully you continue to post.

For the most part, nobody here cares much about CB, at least not in the sense of competition. That is a big misconception by those that come here. There is no need to disparage CB to fit in here. Most (literally) of the mods on CB post here regularly. And all of them that are here are very well-liked by the CUF populace. Bernard, in particular, is one poster that does not post here regularly yet most wish he posted MORE.

If you have a CB ax to grind, this is not the place. All it will do is serve to is diminish whatever goodwill you have amassed post-Black Amex/RedIguana PR disaster.

kc is a good dude. If you read his posts here, you will see that despite being a motor home drivin'/over his head marryin'/cookie bakin' nut job, he listens to divergent points of view, he responds reasonably, and he posts recipes and pictures of food. All of these things are amazing pluses on this message board.

You are doing well. Settle down, forget about CB, put it behind you, and focus on this place. You will be well-served if you follow this simple advice.

Also, everyone here already knows that Jefe's name is "Steve." Like I said, let it go. CB has its place. But, as Brigham said, this is the RIGHT place.

      As you were.

Agreed. As someone who took the chance for a fresh start after CB and has been warmly welcomed (yeah I'm winking at you SU) I would encourage all to do the same. In all honestly, I would like to know Bernard better. I think he was the most visible target of a lot of abuse (unfortunately some of it from me). As has been mentioned many times before that was a different place, a different format and many of us were very different people there. Much like the girl I dated before my mission (who also dumped me), it was fun, I enjoyed it, I grew up and have moved on, but wish nothing but the best for CB.

Hey, I'll buy into that. I've only run into trouble with Jefe, and "frustrating" would not begin to describe my interactions with him.

All right, all right. I'll let it go. I'm happy to be here, and thanks to everyone (before this thread devolved into something else) for welcoming me.

No problem. Besides, you didn't really threadjack it--I brought up some of that stuff myself. Thanks for the welcome.

And is Sizzle a cb moderator? I am sure he is...I hate that guy.

Have I told you that of all the avatars on here, yours is the one that made my wife wonder what the he** kind of place this is?
