You can settle down -- there's no way that Trump will win the general. No way. His broadcast news enablers will turn on him once he gets the nomination. His negatives are huge and they'll only grow.

What if Hillary is indicted? People also said Trump didn't stand a chance to win the nomination.

I thought Trump made some a good point on the Sunday shows by asking why the media is calling it violent rallies when no one has been hurt. Then like the dumb jackass he is, he makes me think less of him again by tweeting his people show upat Sanders rallies.

Um, they have been getting violent. People are getting punched, a Breitbart reporter was accosting by his campaign manager. He is encouraging his people to make protestors leave on stretchers. He does not have a good point.

Nazi comparison are fun (I still really like the orange reich as a description of Trump supporters ... but I also like neo-confederates ... so I think civil war analogy are fun too). More seriously I expect Trump's impact will be more like Oswald Mosley. Of course, Mosley had the blackshirts.

Also, Trump may get the nomination because he occupied a certain niche, by himself, that appealed to part of the electorate. Given the number of Republican candidates, Trump looked like the favorite because 10 guys were splitting 65% of the vote.

But a huge assist came from the myopia of the different candidates staying in too long. Jeb should have dropped out after NH. Rubio should have dropped out after the March 5 primaries.

The only guy that dropped out and kept his dignity intact was Scott Walker.

don't get me wrong, trump is horrifying too. and i think bernie is sincere and a good guy. but the entitlement shown by bernie, a guy with no real experience in his life other than as a public servant representing a very insular place, and his supporters is scary. and his pie in the sky economic proposal are flat out insane. he vilifies wall street and banks when he's made no showing that he has even the slightest clue about how they operate. it's too bad hillary showed such absurdly bad judgment re the email server thing, because she is otherwise the best candidate and it's not close.
