  • This Bronco quote should send Ute fans into a frenzy

Because they are all jealous of Bronco's righteousness

Mendenhall said he and his family celebrated the biggest win of his coaching career on Sunday by sleeping in (church services weren't until 1 p.m.) and eating cinnamon rolls and s'mores. "And then we just tumbled around on the floor with the boys, and it was just a great night. We had s'mores last night by the fire, so it didn't feel like the season. It was really nice," he said. ..
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

    S'mores? Only a self-righteous prick would eat s'mores.

If he plays against Big Time teams. If he wins some of those games. I couldn't care less how religious he is or where he puts football on his priority list.

I think he does know the ultimate fact. If he wins, he keeps his job, if he doesn't he loses it.

If Utah appears to be a more nationally prominant team, eventually he loses his job. Anyone who thinks money and football, isn't a business at BYU and isn't a top priority is residing in lala land .

I am also in a frenzied state. I will not abide this sort of behavior tarnishing the good name of the Church.

I appreciate that clarification. Though it seems haughty to pick a ward simply based on its start time.

As an LDS Ute fan, I am simply mortified that reading the Book of Mormon was not mentioned as being among the Mendenhall family's activities Sunday morning.

Hmm... I'm disappointed. My frenzy is less than whipped.

With a headline like that, I was expecting some level of "This is what happens when you live right" or "This win proves that the church is true" type of celebration.

S'mores? Celebrating with your kids? I'm disappointed in this level of righteousness.

Maybe with having to interact with the Heathens Up North (the HUNs) so often, we are starting to have an effect on his righteousness level.

I'd be concerned if I were you.

Next thing you know, he'll pop a cool one at his next victory, and it won't even be caffeine free. Then it is a slippery slope from there to putting football #1 in your priority list.

I'd keep an eye on him.
