Please be respectful, especially to coaches' family members
I don't care what was written in an article (I haven't read it), there is no need for some of the remarks that I've seen on the board. Disagree with Holly all you want, but calling her names and making snide remarks about her is not cool.
If you see posts (even previous posts) that you believe violate this, please report them so that we can clean up the board. I'm embarrassed that CougarBoard would have posts like that on it.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
I wonder how many called her a name or made a "over the top" snide remark. While I don't think either one would be called for, I have noticed at times over there some serious exaggeration goes on when calling out fellow CBer's.
The best is when someone addresses a post to "all you.............haters." Haters. LOL. Some folks over there have serious sensitivity issues, IMHO.
I think the hubbub was over her comment that she wouldn't mind going somewhere else. That is a sloppy thing to say even if she feels that way. Seems part and parcel with Bronco's PR approach, so I am not surprised she would say it.
The fanbase will never get over her wearing red to the press conference. Another thing that shouldn't matter but a dumb decision to make, nonetheless.

People didn't like her comment about critics not being able to last a day in the profession.
When it’s game time, Holly is “happy to say that I’m a chicken and prefer to watch the game inside a box.”
“I don’t want to hear comments about players and coaches,” she says. “They are doing the best they can at any given moment. Most of these guys who blab on about what the coaches should be doing wouldn’t last a day in their position.”
Holly also keeps media out of her home to avoid hearing comments about Bronco’s livelihood.
“I refuse to contribute to an entity that one day thinks you’re amazing and the next day rips you to shreds,” she says. “I realize nobody is going to buy a newspaper that says everything is happy and good, but I don’t have to participate in that.”

I just think Bronco and now maybe Holly enjoys trolling some of the fans.

Sounds like she is about as thin-skinned as her husband.
