  • 1-10, how strange is it having the rivalry game in Sept?

I keep forgetting they're playing each other this weekend (not really, but kind of).

It won't be cold. That'll be weird.

      It deeply sucks.
I think, perhaps, the only person who hates BYU fans more than ute fans hate BYU fans, is Bronco Mendenhall.

It's definitely weird, but kind of nice to get to hate Utah even earlier in the season. I can get used to this.

It doesn't seem weird at all to me. I am actually looking forward to having the game this early in the season. Can't wait.

One advantage is that the loser has plenty of games afterward to get the bad taste of defeat out of their mouths.

So you've got that going for you Utes.

It feels strange for a several reasons:

              1) we aren't sure exactly the mold of either team. Utah beat a Div2 team by 3 scores and lost a close one on the road. byu beat an average SEC team without much offense and lost a close one on the road.

              2) no significant injuries (unless I missed byu as I don't follow them closely). In years past we had Brian Johnson go down among others.

              3) No comparison of similar teams played.

              4) For me I am more concerned about the PAC-12 south. At first I didnt think this would be the case. Sure this game has bragging rights and I definately want Utah to win it just got the feel of maybe a little more important than the PITT game. This is especially true now that undefeated is gone.

I don't care when it is played. I'm excited for the game and happy it is at LES. I hate going to RES, the fans there are horrible!

Feels great. That's all I can say.

Sucks for us. Great for Utes.
