  • SC recruiting for Class of 2010 shaping up nicely

3 weeks, SC received a commit from Randall Telfer out of Rancho. Scout has him listed as the #4 TE in the country.

Yesterday, SC received a commit from Xavier Grimble out of Bishop Gorman in Vegas. #1 TE in the country.

Also, guess who is on the cover of SI?

Tomorrow should be a fun spring game.

    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

How much did Bronco and BYU make for SI using their former slogan on the cover?

Has any college team ever had 3 players of the same position group go in the first round of the draft?

I don't think so. Ohio State had AJ Hawk and Bobby Carpenter in Round 1 and Anthony Schlegel in Round 3. That was back in 2005.

With SanChez and Maiava, this could be a huge first round for SC. Pretty cool.

What crazy is it could have been bigger, Mcshay had Moala as the number 1 overall pick before the season started, and imagine if Mays would have came out he is a top 10 pick.

That has to be the closet to 3 in the first round. Not sure if there was 3 from the same o line that did as well in one draft.

Yeah, Fili was hampered a bit by his back stuff all year long. He still had a good year.

I forgot about Taylor Mays. You are right. Had he come out, he was a Top 10, easily.

Mays would have easily been the first safety off the board.

So much talent, so little to show for it. Also why aren't SC guys doing well in the NFL.

Spring games are for people who lack principles.

This is a good question. I have no idea.

PC must have thought about it and realized that the fans want to come out and see the team.

Thank goodness the grass in the Coliseum is still in place, otherwise the entire event would have likely been canceled.

If the NFL doesn't work out, these guys have a bright future with American Gladiators.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Brother Polamalu seems to be doing alright.
