  • Zac Collie has said that AC did "more with four

routes than any player in the history of the game."

It was clearly intended as a light jab at the simplistic nature of BYU's offensive playbook under Anae.

After observing week after week that our WRs are never open I'm beginning to wonder - are the two things related?

I rewatched some of the game. I don't know why, I guess I like the abuse, but watching some of the receivers was enough to make me turn it off. When TCU pressed they couldn't get off the line. They get bumped off their routes all the time. And they get zero separation. That and a few times where the camera allowed it looked like they made the wrong reads, going in instead of continuing up. Is Higgins handling all of the WRs? He needs some serious help.

I didn't know you were into pain. I have a special room I could have shown you at our house, maybe on your next visit.

I was told in chat on TBS last night by someone very close to the situation that the WRs NEVER get called out or yelled at - that there's no accountability in practices and that their training isn't very rigorous.

How that's possible when they've been this much of a disaster this year is completely beyond me.

When a mission is being run into the ground by horrible missionaries, do you look to the AP's, ZL's and DL's?

Nope, you look directly to the MP.

Did anybody do less with those same four routes than Zac Collie?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

You two need to establish a safe word first.

That's probably a fair point Fusnik.

But when the sales division of a company is underachieving, you don't axe the CEO right off the bat. He might get some heat, but you'd better believe the Vice President of Sales is gonna feel the responsibility first.

Especially when the CEO was forced to hire the VP of Sales by the Board of Directors.

Having furthered Sizzle's furthering of Fus' analogy, I will say that I am not in favor of giving Anae the axe. If it came down to a "either Doman or Anae leaves" situation, I may change my mind.

Just so we have some historical context, how many patterns did Eric Drage, Glen Kozlowski and Danny Plater run?
