Based on...? Did you watch the game? We have exactly one data point on BSU and Va Tech.

No one deserves any votes at this point. These polls are silly on week 2.

(Sorry, that sounds grumpier than I am. I'm more entertained by how wildly these change than anything. I also enjoy the media anointing paper tigers, and then watching them cover--or just really conveniently ignore--their prior predictions as they fall.)
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

That's it. Every JIC patient I see for the next 2 hours and 19 minutes are going straight to the floor. I'll write your orders for you.

But then again, you're off tomorrow. Dang.

Put me down as skeptical about Utah's #14 ranking. It's nice to see, but the season is very young and I agree with what Senioritis wrote:

I think the pass D will continue to be the weak spot. Blechen hits like a freaking big horned sheep, but he can't cover in man yet. On passing downs, Blechen was playing the 1 deep, and Tap Tap was manning up with the three nickel corners. Neither of the safeties is Bob Johnson in pass coverage. Thankfully, however, they both can find the correct angle on an RB at least once per half. Anyway, Burton absolutely shuts down one side of the field. I feel bad for the corner on the other side. He's going to get more balls coming his way than PaloAltoCougar at a pride parade, and so far the guys there have been seemingly pleased to allow completions. Combined with the inability to get much pressure we saw today, passing teams could have a modicum of fun against the Mighty Utes. We'll see.

ER can be grumpy if he wants to.

You should have seen what he went through over the last two days, and the asshats he had to drive all over two counties.
