  • With most things BYU, I have two mindsets

    1. College sports fan: I'm completely baffled by this move. This is the standard response I've had for anyone in my circles who has asked me about this possibility.

    2. Utah fan: I'm completely baffled by this move, but I can't help but chuckle. Before the WAC plan blew up, we had an idea of what BYU's schedule for 2011 was going to be. After 2-3 games, it stunk. SDSU and UNLV may stink, but they're not in Las Cruces or Ruston, either.

Without a Big 12 invite in hand, I just don't get it. Long-term membership in the WCC will eventually begin a rotting, decaying process within BYU athletics.

So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Let's make this the thread for discussing what dickhead Ute fans think of BYU's expansion plans.

Only in the world of Top Ute do these two conclusions qualify as being "two minds." OTOH, this is likely to be a pretty accurate assessment all the time.

If I were a rabid Ute fan, this anouncement would be very dissapointing. Instead of Utah having UCLA in town while BYU is matched up against UNLV, the Utes may have UCLA in town while the Cougars are matched up against ND.

I don't know what the schedule will look like. Maybe the rabid Ute has nothing to worry about, but they will worry none the less.

Why worry about our Track team. Is that because they (rabid Ute's) root for the BYU track team because their's isn't so good. I wouldn't mourn for BB just yet. I am more excited about Gonzaga coming to town than I would be, go ahead name any PAC10 school.

This shows me BYU is pro-active. If I were a rabid Ute fan, yea that would bug me.

It seems, in your case, two is not better than one. Both of your minds are full of shit.

At least you admit to being completely indifferent to BYU athletics. That's at least what I took from this post.
