I didn't realize that BYU has fans in Germany. BamaCoug needs to add that to the BYU resume his presented to the Big 12-2.

I hear most of them have moved to Argentina.

How many foreign countries has BYU played in? I know they played a football game in Australia. Was there one in Japan as well?

Basketball team played a pre-season tournament in France, I think.

I believe BYU played in Japan back in the 70s against a Japanese university.

BYU played UNLV in Yokohama my last year (78) at BYU. I listened to Paul James' broadcast and remember it was at once hilarious and irritating. The stadium was a baseball facility and the broadcast booth was in a dugout located behind one of the end zones. Consequently, James had an poor view with no depth perception. A typical play call would be something like "Ring appears to be stopped for a loss of a couple of yards. Check that, Ring picks up seven on the play."

How about that? The cougs beat NASCAR in going international.

BYU played Kansai Univerity(I think) in '77 in Nagoya and UNLV the following year in Japan.

We got to translate for them when they were doing clinics in the Kyoto area in '77

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

So then it was like every Bill Marcroft game his last couple of years. 2004 was great for listening to football.

Sounds like Bill Marcroft on a good day.

Check that, MRD beat me to it.

I'll add in commentary on Wild Bill's interview style. Make a statement, then add "huh?" to the end of it. "That defense was something else, huh?" Worked great with Majerus, who never listened to the questions anyways and would just ramble on about whatever he was thinking at the time..
