So a few logistical questions.
How will the divisions be done? The most sense is obviously North/South
North
Washington
Wazzou
Oregon
Oregon State
Utah
Colorado
South
USC
UCLA
Cal
Stanford
Arizona
Arizona State
The problem with this is that every team wants to play USC every year because of the revenue generated as well as the recruiting area. Also Arizona and ASU were the last 2 in and they get a huge advantage in this scenario.
My guess is that they align the divisions this way but they rotate UCLA and USC each season, all of the northern teams is guaranteed at least 1 of them each year.
Or they could zipper the rivals. Which would be lame but possible. If Utah was in that North division this season with Oregon missing Masoli, I think they would finish 3rd behind Washington and Oregon State. The north is definitely the easier division historically.
