Based on spring camp are there any walk ons that we expect to contribute, even on special teams? I suspect Jamison Frazier and Shane Hunter will get pt at linebacker, how about the canadian db?

Frazier had a great spring he finished with 5 sacks and 5 ints. Bronco said that he will battle it out with Jordan Atkinson for a starting spot.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostBased on spring camp are there any walk ons that we expect to contribute, even on special teams? I guess that means that Kyle Van Noy has no chance to start as a true freshman. Why does Bronco always choose to lose by sitting the more talented players?Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostFrazier had a great spring he finished with 5 sacks and 5 ints. I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Maybe Van Noy will be on the other side?
And then at the Will linebacker spot, it will either be Jordan Atkinson or Jameson Frazier, those will be the two players filling Coleby’s spot. Now that precludes at this point any freshmen coming in at this point that happen to really have a fantastic camp. Those would be the four players I would mention to you right now, filling in those spots.”*Banned*

What ever happened with Jaime Hill and Atkinson? Didn't some speculate he was kicked off the team or was it just a "get-off-my-field" one day spat?Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostFrazier had a great spring he finished with 5 sacks and 5 ints. That is Pendleton's spot, I am pretty sure Jordan will start next year. I never expected Van Noy to start as a freshman. I was in jest. However, with the emergence of Frazier, I do wonder if Atkinson could serve the team better at ILB.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostMaybe Van Noy will be on the other side?Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I pray to the J there aren't any expected to contribute. Walk-ons had to walk-on on for a reason.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostBased on spring camp are there any walk ons that we expect to contribute, even on special teams? And that is just one of the more prominent. The list of walk-ons who go on to major contributors is not small.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostSigned,

You're a numbers guy Indy, what is the percentage of walk-ons during Mendenhalls time alone as HC that have gone on to start and get at minimum MWC Honorable Mention?Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostHere are a couple other NFL All-Pro walk-ons from BYU

Walk-ons are good for the Scout team and getting destroyed on Thursday nights for the amusement of the Two-Deep.

I walked on the field once. Sadly, I was escorted out by an orange-coat because I was in fact one of the droids they were looking for.Originally posted by Ruby Soho View PostI pray to the J there aren't any expected to contribute.
