  • You know you're getting old when.....

You see a commercial for Kidz Bop CDs and you don't know any of the songs they're mutilating.

    Run with it.......

. . . while hanging around after ward basketball, a fellow teammate refers to someone as "an older dude, like Donuthole."

    I'm 29, FTR.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

When medical students and sister missionaries look like they're about 14 years old. Elders (missionaries) look like they're about 12 years old.

I am as bald as Sizzle. However, the guy who said this is 22 and knows my age. I think he legitimately thinks 29 is old.

Indeed; it was a comment about him that tipped me off to this fact.

Are you saying that both you and Sizzle have wafros? I also have a wafro if I allow my hair to properly grow out. Mrs. Funk is opposed to allowing that to happen and my career choice also makes the wafro a poor idea.

I have decided to throw caution to the wind and grow out my wafro, despite my career choice (though I do maintain a calmer rendition during the week). I blow it out at night and on Saturdays, only to tame it down again for church on Sunday.
