  • We all know this guy was getting picked behind Smith...

Free Safety Taylor Mays is returning next season to terrorize offenses in the PAC 10. Helps out the losses on defense; the secondary should be top notch.

So, you're saying that USC has better players?

When was the last time the Chargers traded a ton of picks to move up 25 spots in the 2nd round in order to draft a Trojan?

Speaking of Weddle, I felt bad for him in that Steelers game, man did he have a rough game.

          bone cruncher.

my bro and I have been texting back and forth in excitement.

          Wolfie allegedly broke the story.

With Mays roaming around and Chris Gallipo anchoring the LBs......all of a sudden that D aint lookin' so shabby. Having Manti next to Gallipo wouldn't look all that bad, methinks.

The Buckeyes have no chance now.

I didn't see it, but I heard he had a rough game. Just one of those days, eh?

Come on, Mays is ONLY 6'3" 235lbs and runs in the low 4.3's; Smith scared him off.

You got me there, we can't compete with brother Weddle. The only player I can bring to the table is this guy:

Is brother Weddle available to offer the opening prayer for Jr's HOF induction?

He anchored the worst passing D in the NFL. More like just one of those seasons.

With news of Taylor Mays returning and the likelihood of Sanchez coming back, Neuheisel and UCLA are taking out another ad in the LA Times...

no kidding... that punt that bounced off his head was just bad timing

I'm sure he'd make himself available. He doesn't even charge an appearance fee.

It's amazing how little one knows about the NFL when one doesn't watch.

Good deal, I'll let him know when the date is set.

In all seriousness, Weddle is a great guy. I got to meet him through my BIL & cousin who played with him on the '03 & '04 squads. He's one of the few guys I root for in the League.

Eric is a good kid and his is a great story.

And I really like Junior as well. He seems to be a great person. My understanding is that he treated the Ute basketball team very well over the weekend when they ate at his restaurant.

Yep and then the PI in the endzone he had nice position but just reached out and grabbed the guys arm a tad early. That lead directly to 14 points for Pitt. Also he got trucked at the goal line twice.

Just a rough day for Brother Weddle.
