Nice to the see the PAC 10 playing well in the bowls; even better to see UO roll up almost 600 yards last night.

Yes, the Pac has done quite well. So much for the Big 12's quality and depth.

Ha! you just think I'm going to bite.

          Sad for Oklahoma State.

For one, offensively they were an one-man-band, and he went down at the end of the first. Any possible hope for victory went down with him. OkSU never had a defense to begin with.

For two, every couple of years they claim they're legit and this year they're really (really) going to win the conference (or at least perhaps the south division (or at least maybe the instate rivalry)), and every year they fall short. But they still keep convincing themselves that they'll hang with the big boys one of these days.

For three, even though the nine wins make this one of the best seasons in cowboy football ever, the bowl game loss and the fact that OU wins nine games even in a down year make the accomplishment seem more like a disappointment for the fans.

I know! Wasn't that a clever little apophasis? I like to think so.

Well since Oklahoma St. was the 4th place team in the BIG 12 and Oregon was the #2 I am not sure this statement is entirely accurate. The part about the Big 12.

Texas, OU, and Tech all pimped the game against OSU. OSU was highly ranked.

3 weeks ago, nobody would have given Oregon a chance against OSU, especially after some of their 3 losses so closely.

I was one that didn't give Oregon a chance last week. I thought Okie St. was going to win easily. Oregon is a good team. I was impressed last night. I love their little quarterback. That guy can lay the wood.

Far be it from me to even MENTION what I think of your posts. Oh, I read them, of course. But only after I've exhausted all the content from A-list posters. Like Mindfulcoug.

This is true. Oklahoma State was able to ride the coattails of the Big 12 South (whose prowess perhaps remains to be proven). In the end, though, OSU ended up in a three-way tie for fourth in the conference, tied with Missouri and Nebraska.

We have an "absentia list" of posters here on CUF?

I guess BSU's reputation is enhanced and thus TCU's is enhanced, thus BYU's, well thus the MWC's is enhanced.
