considering how tired I get after going for a run or a hike, i know that is coming much sooner, than later.

Maybe you have some inside information as to why he stepped away from college football, but based on his press conference, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that coming back to BYU and the feelings it brought back taught him that college football doesn't have what he's looking for at any level.
I really doubt his visit had the impact you are describing. That is certainly not the narrative he is spinning.

For the record, I never advocated booing him. But I thought the adulation was way over the top. I am glad we beat them and even more happy that we are no longer losing recruits to him.

There is a pretty good argument to be made that moving to the Big XII is helping recruiting.
The other key element has been the winning. But yeah, the combination of the 2 has been great for recruiting and will help us with the transition to the Big XII.

Maybe BYU's fans directly catalyzed Bronco into leaving college football and are somewhat responsible for this latest windfall of recruits. Reminds me of the fabled contest between the Sun and the Wind...

B12 move was an absolute game changer. Not only has it impacted recruiting (and will continue to impact) but there is no way we could have kept Kalani without the B12 move. Coaches and the program would have to be idiots not to leverage it whenever they can.

It's become pretty clear that the impression Bronco got that he needed to step aside was because Jesus was tired of him stealing BYU recruits.
