It's been a minute since we had that kind of wrecking ball up the middle (I grant you TA was something else-- dragging defenders like rag dolls) like Tonga or Fui. Our offense is going to be something else next year.

RB. 2" taller and 15 lbs. heavier than Algier. He was the leading RB at Cal for 2019 and 2021.

Much slower as well. He will not have TA's home run capability, but he will be good for BYU and good in BYU's offense. He can catch and run and keep the chains moving. Between Nacua and Romney on the edge and Jaren Hall's running ability there is an explosive element on the offense, but with the experienced and good OL and Hall's experience BYU ought to also be able to grind out long drives if needed. Brooks will be vital in their capacity to grind out long drives-just needs to stay healthy.

My memory is failing me. I really thought I recalled two backs both having a really good day vs UCLA that day. Alas it Casey T all on his lonesome. But I still remember Sister Driscoll saying to my older brother when in a fit of rage he screamed; "BYU Sucks!" after the game "Why don't you go sit in the UCLA section?" To which he responded "Why don't you go and shut up!" while my good father just enjoyed the moment with Wayne Briggs and Theron Murphy and pretended that he did not hear the conversation.

To bring this chiasum all the way around.....that same brother heard that Donny Mac, as a skinny albeit highly talented and smooth sophomore, was disrespecting the wrestling program at Simi Valley High School he exited the wrestling room into one of Bob Hawking's hoop practices and informed Donny Mac that should he ever talk smack about wrestlers again my brother "would wrap his skinny ass up like a pretzel." To which Coach Hawking goes "Wilson-go back over there and roll around with your boyfriends!" To which Wilson responds "Coach, I will wrap your skinny ass up too!"

As our memories fade as we age- I will always have Sister Driscoll and hopefully Don Rogers has nightmares of Casey T thundering at him. Good day to be a BYU fan.

you may be thinking of casey tiumalu in that game against ucla. lakei didn't get much playing time that season and didn't have any carries vs ucla. RIP Don!
