Fine. It's the rule. Hanneman has to adjust. He will have missed four of the first ten quarters of the season thanks to these penalties.

Exactly. They are trying to eliminate forceful blows to the head in order to save football. Yeah, it changes to the game and some guys are occasionally going to get unlucky, but defenders can still be aggressive if they are smart. Hanneman is being dumb.
