I know Derik. He's keeping a much lower profile, but he is plugged in and generally knows what's going on. I'm not an expert on Reilly, but I know he's got connections on the hill.
There's nothing about what he said that surprises me. You should probably weigh in on what he said rather than just attacking the source.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The claims may very well be true. I'm not plugged in and don't know. I also know that Trevor Reilly is a grifter and not to believe anything that he is saying. Whatever he is saying is about leveraging something he wants. Same reason I'm not going to be listening to the claims made by Tim Ballard. I need a better source.Originally posted by Shaka View Post

It's been a while since I mentioned that when one of the most famous (infamous?) incidents of Derik and family occurred, I was the family's home teacher.Originally posted by Shaka View Post

Derik's dad is one of the great people I have known in my life, while also being someone who, when I see all Derik has done, makes me think "I can see that".
One of my fondest BYU football memories is Derik's dad and I drilling through the lock of the meetinghouse library (mostly his dad, but I was cheering him on) so we could get the satellite equipment to watch the BYU game.

Whatever Derik may have done in this life, I believe God will absolve him because of his father's great service.Originally posted by Clark Addison View Post

Derrik's dad dropped a Ute at the '98 game in RES. Derik served in the EBM, he got there after I had been there a year, and he and my one of my favorite missionaries, the late great Kirt Monson of Carbon County fame (for those on this venue from Carbon County Kirt died two weeks ago today), almost got into a throw down fistfight at a ZL meeting. I am here to tell you that Derik Stevenson vs Kirt Monson would be a fistfight I would pay money to watch. Alas-the MP had the coolness to head it off but man it would have been fun to watch.Originally posted by falafel View Post

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.
