  • Whittingham the Traitor

I think he's going to lose his job, sooner than he realizes. The Utah program will have the money it could only dream of and this means top tier coaching/pressure to retain them comes into play.

He chose short-run compensation over long-run stability at BYU.

This is not a negative post about Utah; Utes are no longer relevant to BYU as we shan't meet again in any sustainable fashion. It's about a man who betrayed his allegiances. Being an asst coach is one thing. Having the chance to lead his alma mater and then changing his mind to lead the sworn rival is simple treachery.

    Uh, no.

Pure delusion. Leaving the University he had worked at for over a decade to coach for his alma matter would have been understandable, but it would have been a step back in his career progression.

Your post, however, is a perfect example of why coaching at BYU would have been a mistake. Everything is about morality there, and the only moral that matters is loyalty.

This isn't about Whittingham. It is about Viking, and how he is a piss poor troll.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Whit doesn't need to worry, BYU will take him back in a heartbeat if Utah ever lets him go.

Nonsense! According to Utah fans, Whit is the best team in the conference, the country, and maybe even the universe. The fans love him.
