according to the 2012 rankings Florida State had a monster recruiting year. I think I'd be wary of scheduling the Noles. I think Jimbo can bring the Noles back up.Originally posted by USU Coug View Post

Anyone know our record East of The Mississippi? IIRC, prior to Kyle Van Noy's glorious trifecta it was abysmal, albeit in relatively few games.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI'd go back to the 'Hass for a game. That was a fun roadie. I think our 2001 win over Mississippi State was the first on that side of Old Man River.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostAnyone know our record East of The Mississippi? Boston College in 85 was in The Meadowland I think. At Pittsburgh in 84. Isn't Notre Dame east of the Mississippi?Originally posted by Pelado View PostI think our 2001 win over Mississippi State was the first on that side of Old Man River.A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

After being thoroughly disproved, I will concede that I was wrong. Maybe that Miss State win was just the first against an SEC team."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Tulane in 2009.
How many times has BYU lost east of the Mississippi?
BC, Miami, FSU, Alabama, the Liberty Bowl (Tulane), the Motor City Bowl (Marshall). Any more?
It appears we have a winning record east of the Mississippi.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
