And risk a surprise visit? No. A marriage must end.

    - Again, you have a freshman QB. Yes a quality one, but still a freshman.
    - BYU got great PR with that gofundme for the TT team hairdresser (didn't know that was a thing)
    - Boohoo we didn't go undefeated in a P5 conference, wahhhhhh! (pull the string)
    - the only way to avoid these letdowns in the future is to make donuthole get a divorce. point your efforts there.

Now the charitable thing for you to do, since you can't go undefeated and the season is in shambles, is to go lose to Cinci and spice up the backend of the B12 championship race.
Agreed. Except for the Cinci part. We are going to win, baby.

Preseason prediction was 8 wins. Anything more than that is just icing on the cake.

But man, I wanted a better game than that. Props to Tech.

They are here a bit later than normal, but that's because they were actually trying to come down on the weekend of the Utah game, and I basically told Mrs. D that weekend was off limits for them to visit us and told her to make up a reason why that weekend wouldn't work for us. At any rate, BYU is 2-10 when my in-laws visit us, with 8 of those 10 losses being blowouts. Do with that information what you will, but you've been warned.

In hindsight, rushing into the teeth of one of the best run defenses in the country with a hobbled back and the backups hurt, and also a freshman qb, and also a receiver corps that on its best day is good for a few drops… can’t say this was really surprising.

Game is more competitive if we take care of the football. We still lose but you can’t gift a more possessions in a game where you are a bit overmatched and on offense we need to stay on schedule.

Turned on the radio at end of 3rd quarter, and turned it back off after the first fourth quarter punt. Wrubell was really down on the team and it wasn't fun to listen to.

I did think we would likely lose this one, but it's disappointing that there wasn't a better showing. We just aren't a team that's ready for a playoff run this year. I would love to get there and we still have a good shot at it, but we need more talent on offense before we can really be competitive with the best defenses in the country, IMO. And TT definitely has one of the best defenses in the country.

On the bright side, they beat us by less at home than they beat Utah on the road. I just hope we can bounce back and not let this loss bring the team down for the rest of the season. There is still everything to play for.

Coulda woulda shoulda. Texas tech is terrible in the red zone all year and our D did a nice job keeping them out. They also would not have had as many opportunities without our stupid turnovers.

hope we get a chance to play them again. I think we play better
