  • Good heavens, who badly do they hate Isaac Wilson to have BR keep playing under those circumstances?

    • If there are any of Isaac's close relatives within the sound of my voice, they need to tell him to come home. We'll take better care of him, just like we did big Bro.

And since Sunday, all the Rose injury reports have said "on the last series of the game" is when the injury occurred. Sounds like maybe that was just the narrrative Utah wanted to push because they know the optics of the real situation. Yikes.

        • Fortunately for me, I was not able to watch the rivalry game this year (for the first time in a long time) for various and sundry reasons. On Sunday I caught up with my brother (who was in attendance, but not involved in throwing any water bottles) after the game and he caught me up on the last minute BYU victory, the drama surrounding calls/non-calls and the bone-headed public commentary from some figure involved on one side or the other (in this case Utah's AD of course). Basically, our consensus was: "So just another typical rivalry game then, huh?"

This is why this rivalry is so awesome. even on the losing end with your own side acting dumb, it is just so freaking intense and competitive. Happy to see you guys basking in the afterglow, and interested to see where my Utes go from here as the wheels come off on this season.

wally being nice towards the cougs... must really fear that payback coming from the BYU women's v-ball team!!!
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

                    Uhh... yeah that's the reason.

I feel like everyone on this board probably qualifies for low-T treatment. Whole bunch of middle-aged and old white dudes with too much time on their hands is really freaking scary stuff.

It is when you are similarly-middle-aged and low-T.

It definitely feels like a different game.

                        • A Ute fan over at the West Coast Sports message board made a bet with me in the off-season on the Holy War game. At the time, we were both expecting Utah to be favored, but he suggested a straight-up bet with the stakes being a new hat.

                          He paid his debt.
