  • 2024 College Football Thread

Do we have a thread for this yet? If so we can merge.

I started this just to post this horrible piece of news. ESPN has fired RGIII!

That is terrible news. He was their best on-air persona.

I guess we get more Rod Gilmore.

Yeah, I agree... I really like RGIII and follow him on twitter.

I'm ready for the season. I've tried to prepare myself for the self congratulating and self obsession of the B1G and SEC by the media and conferences themselves, but we'll see if I can truly stomach it.

Here's to Utah losing every game they play!

Firing RGIII is such BS. He is my favorite color guy by a mile.

Fourth or Fifth that RGIII is awesome. But he is also a very positive, upbeat, and interesting guy, so doesn't really fit in with ESPN these days.

RGIII did a very good job. He was very entertaining. Fox should hire him.

Yeah, it should. I don't understand how ESPN could let him go.

Ha! I haven't seen that, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit.

I'm all for CFB players getting paid, but the current approach is going to kill the golden goose for a majority of fanbases.

Every announcement we get of any life event includes venmo. Honestly, I prefer it. I don't have to go to a registry, get a card, or find cash.
