LOL. I do want to see good football in the state of Utah and I can admit that I want BYU to be successful. I am not a hater like some. I just want Utah to be more successful. Just giving my opinion is all.

Bull. At least the and part of the 2011 and/or 2012. There is no way ND is coming to Provo two straight years. All ND home games are broadcast by NBC, so for the "and" part to be true they would have to play in Provo both years. Not ever going to happen.

I really don't understand the assumption that ESPN will help BYU schedule 4 games a year.

I'm sure Maryland & Wake can't wait to get a home & home with BYU.

AFA, SMU, Fresno State, Hawaii, La Tech, & Utah State--okay, throw out USU since they're already on our schedule & AFA because they would be if we stayed in the MWC--better than TCU, SDSU, UNLV, & New Mexico?

    Duke?

Army (or Navy). Would be cool.

So we get an Army Navy game instead of Oklahoma/Texas/FSU.

Maybe I can get on this bandwagon.
You're not making any sense here.

ND is not required to play Navy. It's a little bit of an assumption that they would choose to play BYU, but they have in the past, and with BYU having no other scheduling obligations and pretty much willing to play ND whenever ND chooses (conf championship weekend?), it's not that big of a stretch.

Your example of a crappy exchange there is almost funny because outside of TCU, it's a pretty even switch. Plus, we get to travel to Hawaii every other year.

For every Duke (a BCS team, remember), there is a double barf with Wyoming.

And I'm not sure how Army Navy gets substituted for OU/Texas/FSU. Oh right, OU/Texas/FSU are playing us for our MWC affiliation.

I bet Babs can help them get one in a year or two.

I'm actually more interested in whether or not it has an exercise band ala the truck Stallone drove in Over the Top!

I sure hope that if ESPN employees are allowed in the HD truck that they don't swear, drink coffee or chew tobacco. That better be in the contract.

but I really have no idea.

Umm...I don't think BYU bought the truck for the sole purpose of broadcasting BYU and ESPN football games. Maybe there was a little bit of foresight into this possibility, but the truck is most likely part of the BYU Broadcasting network that includes KSL, BYUTV, KBYU, etc. Getting ESPN or someone else to lease the truck's capabilities was probably factored into the cost/benefit analysis.

Who knows, maybe some day we'll be able to watch "The Pump" in stunning HD on the Mormon Channel.
