Yes.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostWell, my choices were either John or some playboy model. Should I have gone with the naked chick instead?Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Our new Wyoming would be Texas Tech. No doubt.Originally posted by San Juan Sun View PostIf BYU to the Big 12 happens, who becomes our new rival? Who is our new Wyoming?
As for our new rival, I don't like fabricated rivalries. Rivalries are built over years of hatred and we only have one of those: Utah. I don't want a new rival. I want to hate them and continue to play them and have it mean something.

TCU, we've already got some recent history with them. Of course, to make it a good rivalry, we'll have to beat them every so often...Originally posted by San Juan Sun View PostIf BYU to the Big 12 happens, who becomes our new rival?Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. Jon Wilner has interestingly gone from negative to neutral about BYU...

An OB insider explains what is going on with BYU and the Big 12...
Sunday games has never been an issue in getting BYU into the conference. The issue is FSN's stance against allowing BYU to rebroadcast their games on BYUtv the day of or day after BYU's games are televised by FSN. ABC & ESPN have already signed off on it, but the hold up is FSN. I think in the end, BYU will cave on that stance and join the Big XII. They're starting to realize if the Big XII goes to 12, they might be left out of a BCS conference for good."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Wasn't it 72 hours before? Now down to 48 hours. Hold out, BYU, you're winning.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostAn OB insider explains what is going on with BYU and the Big 12...
Why would FSN not want BYU carrying its content, including logo, on BYUtv within 24 hours of the original broadcast?Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Why is it so important to rebroadcast the game the "day of or day after" the actual game? Is it just because of fan awareness that the game is indeed being played and want to see it before the find out the outcome?
Or...what? Is it THAT big of a deal?
And...why would FSN even care? They get the same amount of money, eyeballs watching it live...etc. What would be the detrimental factor to FSN if BYU rebroadcastst the game the same day a 9pm?"Newton's First Law of Motion: ...things at rest tend to stay at rest. Things in motion, tend to stay in motion...."
Hmm... Good motivation for me to remain active I guess.
